Science on Tap

Explora is co-hosting an upcoming Science on Tap with the Nuclear Museum– a 21+ event. Join us for an evening of drinking beer and discussing why rats are not the size of cows, asking if giant earthworms exist, and pondering what factors act to limit animal body size? Animals vary tremendously in body size, yet each has a ‘characteristic’ body size, which is more or less consistent across earth history. Except, of course, when it is not. What sets the limits on the body size of organisms and how has this varied over time? Admission is $5 per person. Tickets are available here.

The event is finished.
