Registration Info for In-Person Camps

Feeling sick? Please stay home! If you are experiencing fever, runny nose, sore throat, or any other contagious symptoms, please stay home and contact us for next steps. 
  • Drop Off: Begins 15 minutes before scheduled camp time.
  • Activities: Classroom activities as described.
  • Food: Please pack self-contained peanut-free snacks and lunch as appropriate.
  • Break time: Outside, weather permitting.
  • Pick-up: Adults will be asked to show photo ID at pick-up.
Explora educators develop camp activities with children’s developmental levels in mind. Your children will have the opportunity to learn from, and work with older and younger peers and make new friends.
Registration
  • All campers must be able to use the restroom on their own.
  • Please have the following available when you register: emergency contact name and phone numbers; name of alternate adults who can pick up the child; child’s medications, dosages, and physician’s name; child’s insurance information, as well as any allergy or special needs information for your child.
  • Campers should register for camp for the grade most recently completed.

Cancellation Policy
  • If a cancellation is received more than 5 business days before the camp, a refund will be issued for the amount minus a 15% administrative fee.
  • Cancellations received 5 business days or fewer before the camp will not be refunded.
  • Full fees will be refunded if Explora cancels a program

The Larry P Abraham Agri-Nature Center in Los Ranchos

This week long camp is a multi-age, collaborative camp experience, 9:00-2:00, $250 members/$275 non-members.

Financial assistance is available for all programs, on request. We don’t want anyone to miss out on Explora programs. Please email reservations@explora.us for more information.

In-person classes will meet all CDC and CYFD guidelines, with small numbers of campers per classroom. All campers and staff must wear masks and pass a daily COVID-19 screening.

Summer Camps at Explora! Join us for investigation, discovery, and hands-on summer fun!

Explora offers a variety of week-long summer camps that inspire learners of all grade levels to get excited about science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).  At Explora, campers preK-12th will get engaged and keep their brain cells buzzing by exploring STEAM topics in materials-rich and creative environments. Choices include in-person camps at Explora, Balloon Camp at the Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum, and Farm Camp at the Agri-Nature Center in Los Ranchos. Make sure to check out our X Studio programs for teens (6th grade and above!). Let’s get curious!
