Farm Camps are located at the Larry P. Abraham Agri-Nature Center in Los Ranchos
Each full-week camp is a multi-age, collaborative summer camp experience. Farm campers spend time indoors and outdoors throughout the day. Summer Farm Camps are open for registration! Spring Break Farm Camp registration will open mid-December.
Week 1: June 5- 9, 2023

Bees, butterflies, birds, moths, and bats all play an important role in the viability of our food sources and our ecosystem. What type of plants do different pollinators like? What are elements of a garden that encourages butterflies to visit? Create your own bee hotels and more in this camp on pollinators.

Explore and innovate on current tech used in agriculture, and then bring your farm fresh foods to the kitchen in this farming and cooking camp. Code, build, harvest and cook as we grow the food of the future!

Dive into water science with guest educators from UNM’s Center for Water & the Environment. Through coding, designing and inventing, you’ll work with a variety of water samples and test for water quality, build water level monitors, and learn about careers in water management and resources. Water is a crucial New Mexico resource- learn about the intersection of water and tech that has real-world applications!
