Public Programs Manager
The Public Programs Manager develops and implements engaging, accessible public programs that support Explora’s mission through hands-on science experiences. This role oversees programs for families, school groups, and adults, ensuring offerings are educationally sound, inclusive, and aligned with exhibitions, STEAM topics, museum priorities, and special events. The Public Programs Manager recruits individuals and partner organizations, collaborates across teams (Visitor Experience, Education, Exhibits, and Operations), and helps coordinate daily operations and visitor experience.

Visitor Experience Facilitator
Visitor Experience Facilitators are critical Explora team members who create a fun, safe and enriching environment for Explora visitors every day. Visitor Experience Facilitators communicate warmth and welcome at admissions, embody Explora’s hands-on experiential pedagogy through exhibit facilitation, maintain and clean exhibit components, and demonstrate stellar customer service throughout. Visitor Experience Facilitators also work to deliver meaningful programs by facilitating events such as Birthday Parties, Public Programs, and working with school groups.

Work-Study: Assistant Educator (Out-of-School Time)
This role delivers hands-on, inquiry-based STEAM learning for elementary and middle school students in out-of-school programs, while also supporting homework time and creating engaging activities. Candidates should model Explora’s pedagogy, provide excellent customer service, and foster a welcoming, community-minded environment. A degree in progress or relevant experience is preferred, and Explora strongly encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds.
