January 26 - April 21, 2026
Play Ball
MON, Jan 26 / TUES, Jan 27
Have a ball exploring bounciness, elasticity, velocity, and more! Play with flexible tracks and a variety of balls to make discoveries about the effect of mass on collisions and the ways to affect velocity.
Scribble Bots
MON, Feb 2/ TUES, Feb 3
Create a scribbling, wobbling, drawing robot! Be an electrical engineer and a robotics specialist as you use circuits to make a Scribble Bot.
Go with the Flow
MON, Feb 9 / TUES, Feb 10
What is Bernoulli’s Principle? Levitate balls and make an egg jump from one container to another to find out how airplanes fly and birds soar. The science of fluid dynamics is a great way to engage participants’ natural curiosities and connect them to the world.
Rolling Robots
MON, Feb 16/ TUES, Feb 17
Build, code, and customize Spheros to complete challenges and face off in friendly battles and games. Campers will explore engineering, coding, and problem-solving as they design bots to navigate obstacle courses and compete in the Robo Arena.
Good Vibrations
MON, Feb 23 / TUES, Feb 24
Catch a wave…a sound wave, that is! Experiment with vibrations to learn how sound is produced and how it acquires its specific qualities. Find out how sound travels through various materials and how to tell whether it is coming or going.
Building a Monument
MON, Mar 2 / TUES, Mar 3
Tension in the room? Put it to good use! Use your body to understand tension and other architectural forces in this constructive exploration. Discover elementary structural principles and model-building techniques as you create your own unique architectural structures.
Chance or Lucky Guess
MON, Mar 9 / TUES, Mar 10
By flipping coins, rolling dice, picking marbles from a jar, and collecting data on candy, we discover that some outcomes are predictable. We'll run experiments, collect data, and determine the probabilities of certain outcomes for independent events.
Crazy Light
MON, Mar 16 / TUES, Mar 17
Why do we see ourselves in mirrors? How are shadows made? Use light boxes to explore the basic properties of white and colored light, including reflection and refraction, and investigate the properties of lenses.
Colorful Kaleidoscopes
MON, Mar 23 / TUES, Mar 24
Explore the amazing properties of mirrors and lenses, and discover all the wonderful images and colorful patterns you get when angles and symmetry come into play. Design and build your own unique kaleidoscope.

Chemical Changes
MON, Apr 6 / TUES, Apr 7
What’s the difference between a physical change and a chemical change? How do simple mixtures differ from chemical changes? Explore these differences and investigate several fascinating chemical changes.
Phytoremediation
MON, Apr 13 / TUES, Apr 14
How do the parts of a plant help the soil and water? As a seed develops from a seed to a mature plant it grows roots, a stem, and leaves. These parts can have important roles in remediating soil and water quality.
Pollinators
