On Friday, educators explored "STEM in Fairy Tales" as they investigated how tall the Giant from Jack and the Beanstalk is, how much weight Rapunzel’s hair can hold, and how to build a bridge in The Three Billy Goats Gruff from a scientific or engineering perspective. On Saturday, educators played hide and seek with some camouflaged animals to uncover how natural environments disguise them—looking for worms, analyzing landscapes, and designing a camouflaged bunny. Teachers were excited to have hands-on experience with science they could immediately do with the students in their care.
