As Explora’s fiscal year comes to a close, we invite you to partner with us in reaching a critical milestone.
This has been a year of extraordinary momentum. Together, we are completing construction on the new Brillante Early Learning Center facility, a vital expansion of Explora’s Cradle through Career STEM Learning Campus. Located directly across the street from Explora, this state-of-the-art center will feature 8 classrooms delivering high-quality child care, preschool, and expanded programming for local infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their families.
Brillante represents far more than just a new building it is a profound investment in equitable access to opportunity that leads directly to family and community prosperity. By anchoring early childhood education in hands-on inquiry and discovery, we are shaping a brighter future for New Mexico`s next generation.
Before our fiscal year ends, please help us finish strong with a gift to the Brillante Capital Campaign. Every contribution moves us closer to opening these doors for the families and educators who will soon call Brillante home.

Big things are happening outside at Explora! 🌱☀️
We`re excited to share Explora Inside Out—a series of outdoor improvements that bring science and exploration beyond our museum walls. Thanks to support from a New Mexico Outdoor Recreation Trails+ Grant, a Visit Albuquerque Innovator Tourism Grant, and other partners, our campus now features enhanced landscaping, improved pathways, interpretive signage, and nine new interactive exhibits.
This project was inspired by community feedback and designed to create even more opportunities for curiosity, play, and discovery. A special thank you to the New Mexico Outdoor Recreation Trails+ program, Pland Collaborative, Lee Landscapes, Damian Velasquez, and Jeff Krueger for helping bring this vision to life. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!

What is Home Visiting? 🧡
A Brillante home visitor meets with families in their home or here at Explora to support your child`s growth and your confidence as a parent. It`s free, voluntary, and open to all families with children from before birth through age 5.
Together, you`ll build a trusting relationship, learn how your baby communicates, strengthen your parenting skills, and connect with community resources, all through Brillante`s First Born and More curriculum.
