Calling all Teens (aged 13-19) If you are a teenager and want a unique volunteer experience, consider becoming an Explora Junior Camp Assistant! Explora Junior Camp Assistant volunteers assist with students enrolled in Explora's fun, hands-on science and art camps. As a volunteer, you'll enjoy training, feedback, and connections to other teen programs. You will also learn some of the inner workings of Explora and have the opportunity to connect with our Career Pathways internship programs.  

• Build relationships with children, role models and mentors.
• Gain valuable experience that is transferable to other work/volunteer positions.
• Serve as a great role model.
• Have fun in a supportive, informal setting!

DUTIES AND DETAILS

• Be a learning buddy to the Campers during science and science projects.
• Support the teacher to hand out materials, set up projects, and clean up after activities.
