Explora Telling Project: Celebrating Science in Our Lives

The Storytellers

A team of storytellers joined Explora’s science storytelling project in January 2017. Through workshops and rehearsals, and the facilitation of a professional storyteller, they have crafted personal stories of science.

Now it’s time for the storytelling to begin! Explora, storytellers and project instructor Ramona King, and our storytellers invite you to join us at one or more of these science storytelling performances as we connect you with the wonderful world of science!

Storytelling Performances
Spring 2017

Performances begin at 1pm, and run approximately an hour, plus time after the performance for Q & A with the performers.

Performances are included with Explora general admission, and free for Explora members.

More about the Explora Telling Project

Explora Telling brings together members of all ages from our community to tell personal stories about their experiences with science.  Storytellers are working with Ramona King, award-winning storyteller, actor, and writer, and Explora staff to craft and share their stories. Workshops, valued at over $200, were provided at no cost to project participants.

Storytelling is a powerful tool to inspire others, see the world a little differently, and celebrate how science touches everyone’s life. Explora Telling strives to make science more accessible through personal stories that are shared with an audience.
