Visitor Services Educator
Multiple, part-time positions available
Explora seeks energetic, friendly people to work admissions, retail, and the exhibit floor. Visitor Services Educators provide stellar customer service and create joyful, warm, and engaging learning experiences for all visitors. Responsibilities include welcoming visitors, facilitating experiences in the exhibit hall, maintaining exhibits, processing payments, and working as part of a team. VSEs work closely with managers and the Education and Exhibits staff in support of Explora’s mission to create opportunities for inspirational discovery and the joy of lifelong learning through interactive experiences in science, technology, and art. Qualifications include excellent customer service skills and a love of learning. Experience in retail, with computers, and in science and/or education are preferred. Multiple-language fluency a plus, sense of humor a must. Weekends and some evenings required.
