Join other students with an interest in electronics and robotics!
Explore a variety of tasks in each session-from the principles of robotics to programming robotic objects. Returning students will have a chance to build on their
skills as well as experience new projects, including:

• Explore the properties of robot mechanics by building small mechanical systems like a ball launcher, a crawling vehicle or a maze tracker
  
• Design and build original robots
  
• Program robots to move objects and follow a route while experimenting with LEGO® MindstormsTM robots
• Use sensors, infrared devices, light and sound while solving challenges using computers and PicoCrickets
  
• Delve into solar-powered systems and the electronic design of devices like remote control systems
  
   

Art/Tech Lab 2010

This workshop integrates art and science by mixing traditional art-making tools with technologies like motors, computers, Scratch™ software and computer-programmable devices called PicoCrickets. Activities include:

•  Explore light, shadow and photography
•  Make your own computer animations
•  Build art-making contraptions that integrate a variety of sensors
•  Learn simple computer programming to create a game or a digital diary

Cancellation policy
If a cancellation is received at least 5 business days before the first class, a refund will be issued for the amount minus a 15% administration fee. Cancellations received fewer than 5 Business days before the first class will not be refunded. Full fees will be refunded if a program is cancelled by Explora.
